Samad Dental Studio: Dental Implants

Experience the most advanced, long-lasting solution for tooth loss at Samad Dental Studio. Dental implants look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth, restoring your smile and confidence permanently.

What Are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a small, screw-shaped titanium post that serves as an artificial tooth root. It is surgically placed into the jawbone, where it fuses with the bone over time—a process called osseointegration. Once stable, it acts as a sturdy anchor for a replacement tooth (crown), bridge, or denture. Unlike other options that sit on top of the gums, implants mimic the structure of a natural tooth from root to tip. At Samad Dental Studio, we use top-tier implant systems to ensure safety and longevity.

Benefits of Dental Implants

Prevention of Bone Loss

When a tooth is lost, the jawbone begins to deteriorate due to lack of stimulation. Implants are the only restoration that stimulates the jawbone, preventing bone loss and preserving facial structure.

Permanent, Lifetime Solution

While bridges and dentures may need replacement every 5-10 years, dental implants are designed to last a lifetime with proper care, making them a cost-effective long-term investment.

Protection of Healthy Teeth

Unlike dental bridges, which require grinding down healthy adjacent teeth to support the false tooth, implants stand alone and do not impact the health of neighboring teeth.

Natural Look and Feel

Implants are stable and secure. They do not slip or click like dentures, allowing you to eat hard foods like apples and nuts, and speak with total confidence.

Our Dental Implant Process:

A Journey to a New Smile At Samad Dental Studio, we use 3D imaging to plan your surgery with extreme precision:

Step 1

Consultation and 3D Planning

We conduct a comprehensive exam using 3D CT scans to assess your bone density and nerve location. This allows us to create a precise surgical guide for exact implant placement.

Step 2

Implant Placement

The titanium implant is surgically placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia. This is a minor procedure, and most patients report less discomfort than a tooth extraction.

Step 3

Healing and Osseointegration

A healing period of 3 to 6 months is required. During this time, the jawbone grows around the implant, locking it in place. A temporary tooth may be provided for aesthetics during this phase.

Step 4

Final Restoration

Once fully healed, you return to the studio. We attach an “abutment” to the implant and place your final custom-made crown, completing your beautiful new smile.

Dental Implants

Who is an Ideal Candidate for Dental Implants?

Most adults with missing teeth are candidates, specifically:

Patients with One or More Missing Teeth

Whether you are missing a single tooth, multiple teeth, or an entire arch, implants can be adapted to support crowns, bridges, or dentures.

Individuals with Adequate Bone Density

Successful implants require enough jawbone to support the titanium post. If you have experienced bone loss, we may recommend a bone graft prior to placement.

Patients with Healthy Gums

Candidates should be free of periodontal (gum) disease, as healthy gums are essential to support the implant and prevent infection.

Non-Smokers or Those Willing to Quit

Smoking can significantly slow down healing and increase the risk of implant failure. Ideal candidates are non-smokers or those willing to stop during the healing process.

Cost and Insurance Information

Cost and Insurance for Dental Implants Dental implants are a significant investment in your health. The cost varies based on the number of implants, the need for bone grafting, and the type of restoration. While some insurance plans do not cover the surgical placement of the implant, many will cover the cost of the crown (restoration). At Samad Dental Studio, we offer flexible financing plans to make this life-changing procedure affordable. We will provide a detailed breakdown of all costs during your consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the surgery painful?

Most patients are surprised at how little discomfort they feel. We use local anesthesia, so you feel no pain during the surgery. Post-operative discomfort is usually managed easily with over-the-counter pain relievers.

With proper brushing, flossing, and regular check-ups at Samad Dental Studio, the implant screw itself can last a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacement after 10-15 years due to normal wear.

Dental implants are made of biocompatible titanium, which is accepted by the body. True “rejection” is rare. Failure is usually due to infection or poor healing, which is why choosing a skilled team like ours is crucial.

You clean them just like natural teeth: brush twice a day, floss daily, and visit us for regular cleanings. No special adhesives or soaking are required.
